         Braces are almost a right of passage for children in the United States because everyone wants their children to have the benefits of a beautiful smile.
         You too can have straight teeth in a little as one year of treatment. The easiest time to accomplish this straightening is during the growth spurt at puberty somewhere between ages 10 - 13 so we can direct and use natural growth to help us achieve a desirable facial profile. Sometimes we need to start as young as ages 6 - 8 if there are particular spacing problems evident.
         Orthodontics can be accomplished at almost any age so you don’t have to live with crooked teeth that you are unhappy with. We have done several cases on adults in their 60's and 70's! It is possible to use Clear brackets on the front teeth to reduce the amount of metal showing.
